After finding and selecting an item to list, a side panel will open. This page contains three distinct areas: the item information, the listing details, and offers and research.
Item Information
The item information displayed includes:
Product Title
ASIN
Category
Rank
Offers
Availability
You can click on the Product Title to be taken to the item's product page on Amazon.
Listing Details
While listing, you are able to fill in the below details for an item:
Purchase Information
Total Quantity: Enter the quantity you will be sending to Amazon. For a Merchant Fulfilled batch, this is the amount you currently have available to sell. Additionally, you can enter the total number of units, whether packed individually or in cases.
Total Cost/Unit: Enter your cost/unit as you list. This information is then transferred to the Inventory and Accounting tabs. You also have the option to add in Sales Tax, Discounts, or Other Costs by turning on the Total Cost Calculator.
Allowed Conditions: Select one of the conditions you're allowed to sell. The condition of your item must meet Amazon's Condition Guidelines.
To add a note to any condition that is not New, with the option of saving that as your default note for that condition, click the notes icon to the right of Allowed Conditions. This will open the Add Condition Notes popover. See Condition & Common Notes for more information.
Condition Note: The actual condition note for this item. This will show the default note from your Condition Note Settings or the results of your work in the Add Condition Notes popover. You can also manually change or enter the condition note here.
Supplier: Here you can enter a supplier or choose from the list of suppliers you've entered previously.
You can also add and remove suppliers in Settings.
Purchased: This is the date you purchased the item.
Product Information
MSKU: An MSKU will populate here based on your MSKU customization settings, but you can enter your own. If you replenished an item, it will be the existing MSKU.
Merchant Shipping Group (MFN only): You can add or select from your list of Shipping Templates when listing in Merchant Fulfilled batches.
Min/Max Prices: You can enter your minimum and maximum prices for the item if turned On in the batch settings. You can also set up Auto-Price Rules in your Settings.
Label Owner (FBA only): Change it according to who is responsible for printing and applying labels to your inventory before sending it to Amazon fulfillment centers.
Prep Owner (FBA only): Change it according to who is responsible for preparing your products for shipment to Amazon's fulfillment centers.
Expiration: This is only required for certain items. If InventoryLab determines an item requires an expiration date, you will see an expiration date Product Alert and a message saying the item requires one next to the Expiration field.
If you're unsure if an item needs one, please visit the help pages in Seller Support regarding expiration dates.
Regulated?: Choose Yes or No with the dropdown menu to select if the item is regulated or not.
Battery?: Choose Yes or No with the dropdown menu to select if the item contains batteries or not.
Tax Code: If you collect taxes on your items, choose the tax code for it. For more information on Product Tax Codes, see Amazon's help page.
Packing Dimensions: This is only required for items where the dimensions have not already been provided. If this is the case, you will be asked to enter the package’s dimensions and weight.
List Price: Set the price at which you will sell your item. You can set up Auto-Price Rules by clicking on the pencil icon. This, calculated with your fees, cost/unit, and estimated shipping, will calculate an estimated Net Profit per Unit.
ROI: You have the option to enter your ideal ROI and allow InventoryLab to adjust your List Price accordingly for you. ROI is (Total Net Profit / Total Buy Cost) * 100.
Notes:
Many of these fields can be set up to remember and fill from the last entry.
Looking for an Estimated Shipping field? You can add in an estimated shipping rate per lb. in Settings. This will affect the estimated Net Profit / Unit shown here in Find It.
Offers, History and Research
This area displays the offer information of a listing. You will see the total number of offers, the list prices of the most competitive MFN and FBA offers and their conditions, the history of the sales of the item and a list of Research tool buttons to use to predict profitability.
Offers
The first two columns in the Offers display show FBA offers. The last column shows New and Used merchant-fulfilled.
Different icons give a further breakdown of conditions in the MFN Used column and the FBA column:
N: The product for this offer is in New condition
LN: The product for this offer is in Like New condition
VG: The product for this offer is in Very Good condition
G: The product for this offer is in Good condition
A: The product for this offer is in Acceptable condition
There are also additional small letters to show which offer is winning the Buy Box (also known as Featured Offer) or which offer may be Amazon:
This offer likely owns the Buy Box.
Amazon is likely the merchant.
Product History
By default, Product History is turned off to speed up the loading time for item listing details.
Click the toggle to display the Product History graph. In this graph, you can see the item's Amazon selling history for a period of time, which includes Buy Box priced items, the price, and the rank.
The Product History graph will continue to display in item listing details unless you toggle it off again.
Product Research Links
You can research and compare the item from different platforms.
You can also add a custom link to where you want your research from. If you want more information on that, read Setting Up Custom Research Shortcuts.
