Once you’ve assigned your box contents, you’re ready to move on to the Ship It step to complete your SPD shipments.

Completing SPD Shipment (Ship It)

1. After Box It, select your Shipping Mode in the dropdown menu, and click Confirm Shipping Mode.

On the new window, you will see all the Shipment Placements available, with detailed information for each.

SPD: Partnered Carrier

Note: When using this shipping method, the cost will be billed to your Amazon Seller account as an inbound transportation charge. For information on the Amazon Partnered Carrier program and how shipping costs are estimated, please refer to their documentation located here: Amazon Partnered Carrier options

  1. After selecting the placement option on the Proposed FBA Shipping page, choose Partnered Carrier on the Carrier field.

  2. Once everything looks good, click Confirm Placement to proceed.

  3. The Charges window will appear and display the carrier information, number of boxes, shipping costs, and the ship from address.

  4. If everything looks correct, tick Accept all fees and shipment charges, and click the Purchase Shipping Labels button.

Once done, you will not be able to make changes to the shipment without voiding the charges. (Charges can be voided within 24 hours of purchase.)

  5. You can print your shipping labels after you purchase them, by clicking Print Box and Shipping Labels.

  6. Select the shipment, and then click Print Box and Shipping Labels, or Print All Box and Shipping Labels.

Note: If your labels don't seem to be opening, try these steps: My 2D barcode labels or shipping labels aren't opening!

Note: Amazon marks shipments as "Shipped" with the first scan from the carrier. They will still show in the Working Shipments window in InventoryLab and as "Working" in Seller Central until that time.

Once the shipment is showing as "Shipped" in Seller Central, clicking the Sync Shipments button in InventoryLab will update the Working Shipments area and clear out the shipment.

Packing Lists

  1. You can also print your packing list after confirming your Placement. On the pop-up, click Print Packing Lists.

  2. Select the shipment, and click Print Packing Lists or Print All Packing Lists

  3. A new tab will open where you can see the list. The packing list contains the fulfillment center, shipping ID, and details of the assigned items in the boxes.

You'll also see the Total Buy Cost Value and Total List Price Value of each box.

  4. Click the Print icon to print the list.

If you forget to print your packing list on this page - no worries! You can print it under Accounting>Inbound Shipping by clicking on the Shipment ID.

SPD: Non-Partnered Carrier

  1. Choose your Carrier from the dropdown menu. The options are:

    • UPS (non-partnered)

    • DHL

    • FedEx

    • USPS

    • Other

After you have selected the carrier, you can see the changes in your fees.

  2. Enter the Tracking ID for each box in the shipment, by clicking Edit Tracking Numbers.

Note: Amazon currently allows a maximum of 50 characters to be entered for tracking IDs.

  3. Click Save Tracking Information to save.

  4. Once everything looks good, click Confirm Placement to proceed.

  5. The Charges window will appear and display the carrier information, number of boxes, shipping costs, and the ship from address.

  6. If everything looks correct, tick Accept all fees and shipment charges, and click the Purchase Shipping Labels button.

Once done, you will not be able to make changes to the shipment without voiding the charges. (Charges can be voided within 24 hours of purchase.)

  7. You can print your shipping labels after you purchase them, by clicking Print Box and Shipping Labels.

  8. Select the shipment, and then click Print Box and Shipping Labels, or Print All Box and Shipping Labels

The box labels will automatically download as a .PDF to your computer's downloads folder and can be printed in 4 x 6 or 8.5 x 11 sizes.

That's it! Once you complete these steps for all the shipments in the batch, it will close automatically as this completes the workflow for it in InventoryLab.

Complete & Close Batch Button

After creating all of your proposed shipments on the Proposed FBA Shipping page, the Close this Batch button will be available to click.

While we recommend completing shipments in InventoryLab to avoid issues with the Send to Amazon interface, this option allows you to enter box-level content information, purchase shipping, and finish the shipments using Seller Central.

Once clicked, your batch will close, and you can move to your Shipping Queue in Seller Central to finish the shipments.
