The Advanced Rule option allows you to combine multiple mapping actions, modifiers, and filters to create more controlled and specific attribute assignments.
You can use different mapping methods within a single rule to customize how product data is applied.
Available Actions
Within Advanced Rule, you can use:
Map to field – Map values directly from another field
Set to free text – Assign a fixed value
Extract from – Use a specific value from another field
Combine – Merge multiple fields into one value
Lookup – Replace existing values with new ones
When to Use
Use this option when you need to apply specific values, transformations, or rules to selected products only, instead of applying the same logic to all items.
How to Use Advanced Rule
Step 1: Choose Action
Select the action type (e.g., Map to field or Set to free text)
Define the attribute value
Step 2: Add Modifiers (Optional)
Apply modifiers such as:
Set to
Replace
Remove
Prepend
Append
Lettercase
Calculate
Round
Step 3: Choose Products
Select whether to apply the rule to All Products or use “Use filter”
Filters allow targeting based on:
SKU
Brand
Title
UPC/EAN/ISBN
Price
and other attributes
Additional Option
Use “+ Add Action & Conditions” to create additional rules
Repeat the same process for other product groups not covered by the initial rule

Ensure filters and conditions are properly configured to avoid applying incorrect values to unintended products.
