How to resolve Amazon Error: Feed Rejected?

Updated today

Code: InvalidMarketplace

Why am I seeing the “Invalid Marketplace” error on Amazon?

This error occurs when the feed is submitted to a marketplace that is not active, not enabled, or not properly configured in your Amazon Seller Central account.

It can happen for several reasons, including:

  • Your account is new or still under verification

  • Your account is inactive or restricted

  • The marketplace (e.g., US, UK, DE) is not enabled in your account

  • The feed is being sent to the wrong marketplace

  • Not a Professional seller account

How to resolve this issue

1. Check your account status

  • Log in to your Amazon Seller account

  • Make sure your account is fully active and verified

  • If needed, re-submit your credit card or banking details

2. Confirm your active marketplaces

  • Go to Settings → Account Info → Your Services

  • Ensure the marketplace you are trying to list in is enabled and active

3. Wait for account activation (if new account)

  • If your account is newly created or recently updated, allow 2–3 days for Amazon to complete verification

  • During this time, feed submissions may be rejected

4. Verify your feed configuration

  • Make sure the correct marketplace is selected in your ExportYourStore feed/template

  • Avoid sending listings to marketplaces not supported by your account

Important Notes

  • This error is not related to your product data

  • Each Amazon marketplace is treated as a separate region

  • Only active and approved marketplaces can accept listings
