A detailed explanation and visual walkthrough of the ScoutIQ Analytics Tab & Accepted Scans

Updated this week

The "Analytics" tab on your ScoutIQ app can be accessed along the bottom of your ScoutIQ App and allows you to view statistics and analytics about the items you have scanned. You can also view and download details of the "Accepted" items you have scanned. This article will help you navigate this tab and download your Accepted scans as a CSV file.

These can be filtered by timeframe using the dropdown menu along the top of the screen:

Once you have selected a timeframe, simply scroll down to view data and statistics for that timeframe, including Lifetime Scans (total number of scans since you downloaded the app and began scanning) and your Best Day (most scans in one day), the Total Scans for the timeframe selected, your Accept Rate percentage for the timeframe selected, the Total List Price, for the timeframe selected, and the Estimated Profit (based on the Target Price selected by your triggers) for the timeframe selected.

You can scroll through Title, ASIN, Sales Rank at the time of scan, Amazon's Price at the time of scan, and Profit for your chosen fulfillment method (FBA or MF) as projected by the Target Price selected according to your triggers, at the time of scan. You can also search through these results by title , using the search bar at the top of the screen. To navigate back to the Analytics page, just click the Orange Analytics button a the bottom of your screen once more.

Please note: If you scanned different copies of the same item, or scanned the same item multiple time on different dates, each scan will appear and will reflect the data at the time of scanning.

Preparing Your File For Import

Before your file can be imported into InventoryLab, Amazon Seller Central, some preparation is needed.

The Quantity column is pre-populated with a 1 for each item scanned. If you purchased multiples of the same item, simply replace the 1 with the total quantity purchased, and delete the extra rows.

Pro Tip: Use the "Data Cleanup" feature in Google Sheets or Excel to remove duplicates if you have not purchased multiples of the same item.

The Cost Per Unit defaults to 0 in the current update, and will need to be entered manually. In future updates, we plan for the Buy Cost you enter at the time of purchase to automatically fill in here. For now, just type in the price you paid for each item.

If your thrift store uses a standard price, you can enter it once and simply drag it down to fill all rows.

The Supplier column is left blank and will need to be completed prior to import if you want to track the profitability of each Source/Store/Supplier via InventoryLab. Since the list is automatically sorted in the order scanned, this list will naturally be grouped in manner that allows for you to type in the name of the thrift store or event where the item was purchased, and then drag it down the column. This is optional.

The Condition column must be completed for you to comply with Amazon Condition Guidelines . Enter the appropriate product conditions as follows in the format shown below.

• New
• Used Like New
• Used Very Good
• Used Good
• Used Acceptable
• Collectible Like New
• Collectible Very Good
• Collectible Good
• Collectible Acceptable
• Refurbished

IMPORTANT Note: If you do not complete this step, your items will default to "New" in InventoryLab, and will have to be changed manually after import.

Pro Tip: Some users prefer to default to "Used Very Good" or "Used Good" and simply paste this in to the whole of the Condition column, and then go back and only manually revise items that deviate from this standard one by one.
