Wholesale Search Filters

An in-depth video walkthrough of search filters for Wholesale Search in Tactical Arbitrage. Learn what's different from filters for Product Search etc.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Wholesale Finder filter panel lets you narrow down and control results when uploading wholesale price lists or analyzing supplier data.

While many filter groups are similar to those in Product Search or Reverse Search, a few are specific to wholesale workflows, such as Wholesale Deductions and Provider Shipping Costs, which help you calculate profitability more accurately across bulk catalogs.

🎥 Watch this video to see how to use filters effectively in Wholesale Search.

Filter Panel Layout

The Wholesale Search's filter page is divided into several sections, each controlling a different part of your scan results.

Section

What It Controls

Example Use

Source Price Adjustments

Modify supplier prices to reflect negotiated discounts, shipping costs, or taxes.

Add 10% wholesale deduction and $0.50 shipping per item to refine ROI.

Remove

Exclude listings that don’t meet your requirements (e.g., low sales, restricted brands, or poor ranking).

Filter out Amazon-sold products or those with fewer than 5 monthly sales.

Source Titles

Adjust keyword matching between your supplier list and Amazon.

Add or remove title words to improve product match accuracy.

Costs / Fees

Add prep or handling costs, including FBA shipping or bundle fees.

Add $0.25 per unit prep fee and $0.10 per pound FBA shipping.

Profit & ROI

Set profitability thresholds for your uploaded catalog.

Show only listings with ROI above 25% or profit above $5.

Other Filters

Control visibility options, such as showing unmatched or out-of-stock items.

Enable “Show No Match Found Results” to review skipped products.

What’s Different in Wholesale Finder

A few filter sections here behave differently than in Product Search or Reverse Search:

  • Source Price Adjustments includes Wholesale Deductions — to reflect discounts from supplier invoices or negotiated deals.

  • Provider Shipping Costs lets you factor in supplier freight or per-unit delivery fees before ROI is calculated.

  • Filters are applied per upload rather than live web scans — accuracy depends on the data in your price list.

  • Remove filters are often more critical here since wholesale lists contain thousands of SKUs, many of which may not have valid ASIN matches or consistent rank data.

Best Practices

  • Start with realistic thresholds. Wholesale data can vary; begin broad, then narrow filters once you understand supplier patterns.

  • Use Wholesale Deductions carefully. Enter your negotiated discount instead of a guessed average.

  • Review No-Match Results. Many profitable products come from refining supplier SKUs manually later.

  • Save presets for each supplier. Different vendors have unique cost and shipping structures.

  • Avoid over-filtering. Using too many Remove filters may eliminate viable replenishable items.

💡 Pro Tip: Wholesale Finder is most effective for catalog validation — use it to analyze your existing supplier lists before ordering, and pair it with Product Search to spot retail equivalents.
