Due to browser updates, when performing the Diagnose step to resolve DYMO printer issues, you may encounter a message similar to this:
This is caused by an expired security certificate from DYMO. Their drivers have been updated (v8.7 and newer) to solve this problem.
To correct this, please follow the steps linked below to uninstall your current DYMO driver and install a newer version:
Mac
Windows
If you are running into this but don't want to update your DYMO driver, the below steps for Chrome and Firefox should bypass the security error.
Chrome
Copy and paste the following link into a new browser tab:
Note: The COPY/PASTE part of this is crucial. Please, do not click on the link. Clicking a link may send you to a different default browser and will not correct the error.
If you get a similar message to this screenshot:
Click Advanced
Click Proceed to localhost (unsafe)
Once you do this, refresh your screen and go through the Printer Setup again and see if you can install that printer in Stratify.
This will NOT harm your computer, but because DYMO has a misconfiguration in their self-signed certificate, this is the only way to connect to the DYMO Label Webservice without updating your DYMO driver.
Firefox

Click Advanced
Click Accept the Risk and Continue
Once you do this, refresh your screen and go through the Printer Setup again and see if you can install that printer in Stratify.
To be clear, your information is secure. The insecure connection that Chrome and Firefox are warning you about is actually a connection back to your own computer. The important information such as username/password is being sent over the wire securely.
