Different Amazon marketplaces have different taxes, fees, and competition. What works great in one country may not work well in another.
But good news: that's what SmartRepricer's marketplace settings are for! Just follow the steps below to customize them quickly and easily.
Editing Your Marketplace Settings
On the SmartRepricer homepage, click Settings > Marketplaces.
You will arrive on the screen shown below, with all your connected marketplaces. (If you need to connect a new marketplace, see How to Add a Marketplace to SmartRepricer. SmartRepricer supports all 22 Amazon marketplaces, and you can connect all of them to one account!)
Here, you can take the following actions:
Deactivate/reactivate repricing for an entire marketplace at once with the Repricer toggle.
Completely deactivate/reactivate SmartRepricer's connection with your Amazon account with the Managed toggle.
Choose or change your default strategy with the Default Strategy dropdown. Every marketplace must have a default strategy for SmartRepricer to be able to reprice its products. If you haven't set a default strategy and don't have any options, see SmartRepricer Strategies to learn how to set them up.
View and edit additional settings for a specific marketplace by clicking the pencil icon on the right side of the screen. Keep reading through steps 3 and 4 for more information on these additional settings.
Disconnect your Amazon account by clicking the trash can icon. This is permanent and will delete all your settings, so you probably won't want to do that! (If you click it by accident, a warning will pop up asking you to confirm you really want to disconnect.)
After clicking the pencil icon, you can update your Marketplace settings as desired:
Global Sales Tax: Enter a sales tax percentage to have it incorporated into your costs for all items sold on this marketplace.
ROI Calculation: Choose whether you want your ROI calculated based on total costs or only cost of goods. Total costs incorporates fixed Amazon fees into your costs, but not referral fees. Cost of goods does not incorporate any Amazon fees.
Digital service fee: If you operate in a country with a digital services fee, you can incorporate that fee into your calculations. This is usually a 2% or 3% fee, charged in Canada, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain. See Digital services fee on Amazon to learn more.
Include FBM shipping fees: Decide whether you want to pull the shipping fees from your FBM shipping templates into calculations.
Update min/max prices on seller central: Activate this setting to have SmartRepricer share your min/max prices with Seller Central. This can do a lot to help prevent high pricing errors, but there's always the risk of Amazon using it against you if they compete with you on a listing.
Apply B2B pricing: Activate this to use your lower business-only price to prevent pricing errors.
Remove inactive products: Activate this to remove all inactive products from Listings in SmartRepricer.
Safeguard min/max pricing updates: Set hard limits on how far SmartRepricer can increase or decrease your price in one update. If a repricing action exceeds this limit, then the change will not go through and repricing will stop. You will be notified immediately.
Sellers you don't want to compete with: Enter the merchant IDs of any sellers you want SmartRepricer to ignore. Separate each merchant ID from the next with a comma only (no spaces).
Note: The two seller IDs in Sellers you don't want to compete with are just placeholders. They are fake IDs entered in the correct format as an example.
Click Save to confirm your changes.
Disconnect, Reconnect, or Renew Your Amazon Integration
At the bottom of the screen, you'll find two additional sections: Disconnect Marketplace and Update Amazon Access API.
Clicking Disconnect Marketplace will deauthorize SmartRepricer's access to your Amazon account. This will break the connection and stop SmartRepricer from repricing or collecting data.
If you ever have a broken Amazon integration or need to renew your authorization for any reason, click Update Amazon Access API. This will allow you to reauthorize SmartRepricer and repair the broken connection.
