Listings

Updated this week

The Listings screen allows you to control how SmartRepricer manages your Amazon inventory. To access it, navigate to Listings > Inventory in the menu on the left side of the screen.

You will arrive on the screen shown below, with detailed info on each of your listings. This includes the SKU, product name and ASIN, active strategy, listing price, stock, stock age, min & max price, Buy Box status, and much more.

Overview

Your Listings screen gives you the freedom to change just about anything. This includes editing virtually any repricing setting, either one listing at a time or in bulk. And with search, filters, editable data columns, and a changeable display, it's easy to find the info you need and display it the way you want.

All data shown here can be downloaded to Excel, either in a standard or Uploads-compatible format.

Searching for Products

Search for products by SKU, ASIN, or product name by entering the information in the search bar.

But don't rely only on the search bar. Using filters or even changing your columns can make it a lot easier to find what you're looking for.

Filters

Select the Filter tab at the top of the screen.

This will reveal your options for narrowing down your search results. Often, if you want to search for something that you can't find using the search bar, there will be a filter that's perfect for finding it. For example, the Tag filter lets you limit your results to products with at least one of the tags you've entered.

Changing What Data Is Displayed and How

Note: The buttons shown in this section are only visible if you do not have any listings selected. If you see a Bulk Actions button instead of Columns, Filter, etc., you need to uncheck all selected items first.

Columns

Click Columns to add, remove, or reorganize the columns shown on the Inventory page and in Excel downloads. You can also save your customized columns as a template, allowing you to switch back to it as needed.

At the top of the popover screen, you'll see the list of your current templates. The currently selected template will have a green Active tag on the right. If you want to switch to another template, click on the Open icon on its far right.

Below that, you'll see the active view's columns. Active columns have a checkmark next to them, while inactive columns have a blank checkbox. You can click any checkbox to remove an active column or add an inactive column.

Columns are shown here in the same order they're shown on your Inventory page, just from top to bottom instead of left to right. Click and drag the hamburger button on the right of any column to change its position.

When you're finished making your changes, scroll to the bottom of the popover. Click Save as New Template to create a new template with your updated columns, or Apply to change the currently selected template. (You can also click Close to undo all changes.)

Full Screen Open/Close

Click the double arrow button in the upper right to switch in and out of full-screen mode. Full-screen mode collapses the main menu on the left side of the screen to reduce the amount of horizontal scrolling you need to do.

Downloading Your Data

Download the data for all the products you have on the Inventory page by clicking Download. It will download as a standard Excel file.

Note: If you have not applied any filters or performed any searches, this will download your entire inventory at once. With very large inventories (e.g. more than 15,000 SKUs), this can result in your browser timing out. Try using a filter or search to narrow down your item list before downloading.

If you want to download an Uploads-friendly file, see Bulk Actions, below.

Bulk Actions

You can perform bulk actions on more than one product at a time. First, select the products you want to edit by clicking the checkboxes on the left. (Checking the box at the very top will select all items shown.)

After selecting at least one product, the Bulk Actions dropdown will appear in the upper right.

From Bulk Actions, you can take actions on all selected items at once:

  • Download: Download their info in an Excel sheet (including an Uploads-friendly option)

  • Repricing Toggle: Toggle repricing off and on

  • Set Strategy: Switch strategies

  • Enable time-boxed repricing: Set a limited-time pricing rule into place that overrides all other rules

  • Bulk Update: Edit costs, shipping costs, or repricing frequency

  • Tags Add/Delete: Add or remove tags

Display

In the bottom-left corner, you can change the number of listings displayed on each page to 10, 25, 50, or 100. A smaller number allows each page to load faster, but a larger number lets you select more listings at once and accomplish more with Bulk Actions.

Editing One Listing at a Time

You can edit one listing at a time directly from the Inventory screen, without using Bulk Actions. There are a few different ways to do so.

Deactivate/Reactivate Repricing for a Specific Item

Simply click the toggle in the Repricer column to deactivate or reactivate repricing for a specific item. This will override any strategies or workflows set to deactivate or reactivate that listing.

Edit Listing Without Leaving the Listings Screen

You can edit an item's cost and price data, and a few other details, by clicking on just about any price-related field for that item. For example, you can click on the item's min or max price.

Alternatively, you can click the four-squares icon under ACTIONS on the item's far right, then select Edit.

This will open a popover on the right side of your screen. Here you can edit your min and max prices, cost, cost currency, manual price (overriding all repricing), MAP price, update frequency, strategy, notes, and tag! Be sure to click Update when finished.

One bonus feature here is the built-in price calculator. Hit "Click here" at the bottom of the screen to open it as another popover.

You can then calculate your profit immediately. This is a handy tool for confirming that any price changes are a good idea, or seeing if you need to adjust your price after the cost has changed.

Other Quick Actions

Clicking the four squares icon on the far right of your item will give you a few additional options. Beyond the Edit option discussed above, you have options to:

  • Jump to the Amazon listing with Show on Amazon

  • Jump to the item's repricing history with Pricing Activity

  • Add or update your note on the item with Note Add/Update

  • Open the price calculator with the item's details preloaded with Price Calculator

You can also take quick actions from within some fields. For example, you can copy the SKU from the SKU field and the ASIN from the Product Name field.

Edit Listing with Detailed Data

To open the full-screen item editing interface, you have two options. If you have the SKU column (the one with product images), click the Open icon to start editing the item in a new tab.

Alternatively, you can always click the pencil icon under Actions on the far right. This will take you away from your current results on the Inventory screen and open the full-screen editing interface in the same tab.

The full-screen interface gives you all the same options as the item editing popover, but it also gives you a wealth of data about your item. Here you can view just about every detail SmartRepricer can offer. From your repricing history to a plethora of Buy Box stats, you'll have all the info you need to be smart about repricing.

Below are just a few samples of some of the data available:
