Sets allow you to organize your catalog by grouping listings together within ExportYourStore. Instead of managing products one by one, sets can be used to apply rules and automate changes for a specific group of products.
What are Sets?
A Set is a custom group of listings in your ExportYourStore catalog. Sets make it easier to manage products that share similar characteristics, such as a brand, category, supplier, or any other criteria you choose.
You can use sets to simplify bulk actions and target specific listings when creating automation rules.
Creating a Set
To create a new set:
Go to Sets.
Click Create Set.
Choose one of the following methods:
Option 1: Create a Set Using Filters
Use filters to automatically include listings that match your selected criteria. For example, you can create a set containing all products from a specific brand, category, supplier, or other filtered attributes.
This option is ideal for dynamic groups of products based on common characteristics.
Option 2: Manually Select Items
If you want complete control over which listings are included, manually select the products you want to add to the set.
This option is useful for creating custom collections that don't follow a specific filter.
Managing Sets
Each set includes additional management options.
Edit Set
Modify the set by updating its name, filters, or manually selected items.
Option 1: Create Similar Set
Create a copy of an existing set to use as a starting point, then make any necessary changes without creating a new set from scratch.
Option 2: Delete Set
Permanently remove a set that is no longer needed.
Deleting a set does not delete the products in your catalog. It only removes the grouping.
Set ID
Every set is automatically assigned a unique Set ID.
Example:
ID #: 17360
The Set ID is used throughout ExportYourStore to identify that specific group of listings.
Using Set IDs in Rules
Set IDs can be used when creating rules to target only the products within a specific set.
For example, you can use a Set ID when creating:
Pricing Rules for a selected group of products.
Brand update rules for specific listings.
Product attribute updates.
Other automation rules that support filtering by Set ID.

Using Set IDs allows you to apply changes only to the listings in that set, helping you manage different groups of products independently without affecting the rest of your catalog.
